Linger - Short Film

Linger was a thesis film for a student at Chapman's Dodge College. Their film was set in a record store, and music was a major theme of the story, so the director requested a poster that fit the film's melancholic tone and graphic props to fill out the location's background. The film was not set in any particular time, so there weren't any restrictions on time period to pull from for the graphic props, yet they did want their film to evoke a nostalgic feeling, meaning the props/set dressing should reflect that intention. A great deal of research went into the design of all the album covers in an attempt to make them feel authentic and span a wide range of genres/time periods.
